Art Fund Pavilion, Woking

The Brief: Maximum pavilion footprint: 35 square metres. Maximum height: 4 metres.

Illustrate your design as being used in the following 3 scenarios:
As an exhibition space, a formal presentation space for up to 30 persons seated as an informal gathering or party space.

My concept was to conceive of the pavilion as a piece of furniture, to sit in the courtyard like a bed or a table.

In the same way that these large items of furniture define a room, the pavilion would define the courtyard in which it sits.
